If you want to get started with railway models, we recommend Kato's easy and reliable track system "Unitrack". Kato's track system with trackbed "Unitrack" is a track system that even beginners can enjoy with confidence, including connecting parts (Unijoiner) that do not have to worry about electrical conduction failure and a plastic trackbed that boasts outstanding stability. In addition to a rich lineup of electric points, elevated lines, and double-track lines that can be operated with a switch at hand, its high system performance allows you to easily develop your line plan. How to connect the "Unitrack" tracks When connecting the rails, connect them by pressing the Unijoiners parallel to each other while engaging them on a flat surface such as a desk. You will hear a "click" sound when the connection is secure. When removing the rail, gently fold it horizontally to remove it. Do not apply force in the vertical direction as this may cause damage. If the unijoiner (rail connecting part) breaks, only the unijoiner can be replaced. The unijoiner can be removed by hooking the ``unijoiner remover'' that comes with the starter set and pulling it toward you. Model railroads draw electricity from the rails through the wheels, so maintain the rails and wheels frequently. We recommend the special maintenance liquid "Uni Cleaner".
