KATO N Gauge DD51 Late Cold-resistant Hokutosei 7008-F Railway Model Electric Locomotive

The DD51 Hokutosei color, which was introduced in 1988 for towing sleeper express trains in Hokkaido, is the main diesel locomotive of JR Hokkaido, and is active in towing the Blue Train (Hokutosei/Cassiopeia) in multiple trains. Due to the reduction in the number of passenger trains, cars were gradually discontinued, and the last five cars were retired in March 2016 when regular service of Cassiopeia ended. Formation example Main features JR Hokkaido's Blue Train traction machine (A cold region specification) is commercialized as a prototype. It reproduces the form of the actual vehicle, including the snow plow, rotating window, whistle cover, tablet catcher, protective plate, and no vertical rain gutter. Reproduces the appearance after removing the tablet catcher and its protective plate. H rubber in various places is reproduced in black. The bonnet joints are reproduced in black. The characteristically shaped head mark stay is reproduced with separate parts. Adopts a power unit with a flywheel for stable running.
