KATO N Gauge 273 Series "Yakumo" 4-Car Set Railway Model Train 10-1999

273 series "Yakumo" The 273 series began operating in April 2024 as a limited express "Yakumo" train connecting Okayama and Izumo City. It features a body color called ``Yakumo Bronze,'' which is based on the concept of ``a body that reflects the scenery of the Sanin-Hakubi Line and stands out in nature,'' and a ``natural pendulum system with onboard shape control'' that improves ride comfort. Out of all 11 formations, both the lead cars of the 1st to 6th and 11th formations have penetrating doors on the front, but the Kumoroha 272 of the 7th and 9th formations and the Kumoha 273 of the 8th and 10th formations have a non-penetrating structure. Normally it is operated in a 4-car train, but when there are many passengers, it is operated in an 8-car train that combines two trains. The 273 series limited express train ``Yakumo'' is now available. The 4-car set has a structure in which the lead car at both ends has a penetrating structure, and the special 8-car set has a structure in which the lead car closer to Izumo City (Kumoroha 272) has a non-penetrating structure, and the lead car closer to Okayama (Kumoha 273) has a non-penetrating structure.
