Sandtroopers are the desert terrain forces of the Galactic Empire, with specialized armor and gear designed to withstand the harsh, arid conditions of desert planets like Tatooine. Like all stormtroopers, they are completely devoted to serving Emperor Palpatine, and carry out their orders without hesitation, mercy, or even regard for their own lives. Trained and equipped to fight in the most unforgiving environments in the galaxy, sandtroopers are among the elite of Imperial forces and one of the Rebellion's most dangerous adversaries.
